A team of five from Trinity Dental Practice in Northamptonshire has signed up to take part in the Mouth Cancer 10KM Awareness Walk starting at 12 noon on Saturday 30th September.

Clinic Manager Rebecca Shaw, Hygienists Cherise Gould and Lynne Rainbow, along with Dental Nurse Victoria Vandervelden and Trainee Dental Nurse Sharne Chester are taking part in the walk for the first time.

The team decided to take part as oral cancer is a subject very close to all of their hearts being incorporated into their working lives daily. All staff members regularly complete mouth cancer CPD and checks are carried out at each dental checkup and hygiene appointment. Rebecca says “we are excited to support a worthwhile cause and ensure we are raising the profile of mouth cancer”.

Trinity Dental is raising money for the walk. Please take a moment to sponsor them at

The Mouth Cancer Foundation is encouraging as many dental practices as possible to get together as a team and come and enjoy our free walk in London’s Hyde Park. For more information on the walk and to sign up please visit
